NFL Week 5 Preview, Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles Vs. San Francisco 49ers

Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) vs. San Francisco 49ers (0-4)

When: 8:20 p.m., Sunday, NBC

SB Nation Eagles: Bleeding Green Nation

SB Nation 49ers: Niners Nation

Breakdown: At the start of the season, this was viewed as a matchup between two solid teams (thus the Sunday Night Football placement). Now? The Eagles are entering a potentially troubling time period with starter Michael Vick but they're still much further ahead of the 49ers, who are still win less. The 49ers have given up 25 or more points in three of their four losses and I don't think that changes with the Eagles.

Player to Watch: Kevin Kolb. Who else could it be? Vick is out so Kolb gets another chance. We'll see if he can do what Vick did when Kolb originally went down.

Line: Eagles are 3.5 point favorites.
Prediction: It all comes down to Kevin Kolb but I think the Eagles take this one fairly handily.
