NFL Week 5 Preview, Prediction: Minnesota Vikings Vs. New York Jets

Minnesota Vikings (1-2) vs. New York Jets (3-1)

When: 8:30 p.m., Monday, ESPN

SB Nation Vikings: Daily Norseman

SB Nation Jets: Gang Green Nation

Breakdown: My how one week can change things. The Vikings now have Randy Moss and added to their explosive offense (that has yet to really gain momentum in 2010). The Jets are coming off of three straight victories and Mark Sanchez is playing great with eight touchdowns and no interceptions over his last three games.

Player to Watch: Randy Moss. Why not Moss? He'll be on Monday Night Football for the second week in a row and he seems to show up big in primetime games. I imagine Brett Favre will be looking to get him involved early.

Line: Jets are four point favorites.
Prediction: The Vikings need this game more than the Jets do and now have Moss on their side. I’m taking Minny by a field goal.
