Before the Thursday Night Football game between the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons we heard from SB Nation's Baltimore Beatdown comparing Joe Flacco to Matt Ryan, both 2008 first round picks. Of course Baltimore Beatdown went with Flacco citing his playoff wins.

Now it's time for SB Nation's The Falcoholic to response. Ryan had an excellent game completing 32-of-50 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns and threw the game winning touchdown pass to Roddy White.
This one might just beat it. Instant classic. INSTANT. Ladies and gents, this team will not be denied. They will absolutely not be denied. Seven and two, only the third time in franchise history we’ve gone seven and two at this point in the season. Enjoy it, ladies and gentlemen. Oh, and we now know: Ryan > Flacco.
I don’t know if we can say that after one game but Ryan was pretty impressive on Thursday night. Flacco threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns as well including an interception.
It ended up being the battle of quarterbacks we thought it might be as both running games weren’t as strong as they normally are. In the end, it was Ryan who outdueled Flacco for the win.
