Mark Sanchez has completed 8 of 11 passes for 71 yards and one touchdown, while Colt McCoy has completed 8 of 12 passes.
As expected, RB Peyton Hillis has been very effective, and has rushed 10 times for 60 yards with a touchdown as well.
The Jets have been opportunistic and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has opened it up for Sanchez, allowing the young quarterback to take a couple of deep shots down the field to both Holmes and Edwards. Jets have been very balanced on offense, running the football to setup for the play action pass.
WR Jerricho Cotchery is the lone recipient of the Jets touchdown pass, a 25-yard strike from Sanchez.
