NFL Week 10, Jets Vs. Browns: Defense Sets The Tone In Third Quarter, Jets Still Lead, 17-13

Both teams moved the football at will in the first half. However, the second half has been a totally different game.

The Jets have stuck with a ball-control centered, run-heavy gameplan, and it has worked. Thus far, they’ve possessed the football for 21 minutes to only 5 minutes for the Browns.

During their most recent drive, the Jets marched down the field and converted on some big third downs to move the ball. However, on 3rd & goal in the red zone, QB Mark Sanchez forced a ball into double coverage in the end zone, and it hit former Jet S Abram Elam in the hands, and he dropped it. DC Rob Ryan was not happy, and was cursing up a storm afterwards.

RB Shonn Greene leads the Jets in rushing, and has carried the ball 16 times for 58 yards. Tomlinson has 14 rushes for 44 yards. On the other side of the ball, RB Peyton Hillis has been a non-factor this half after an active first half, and has carried the ball 14 times for 65 yards and one touchdown.

WR Braylon Edwards leads the Jets in receiving, and has 4 catches for 59 yards against his former team. For the Browns, TE Benjamin Watson has 3 receptions for 46 yards.
