Dolphins Extend Lead To 20-17 Over The Titans In Third Quarter

Despite losing Chad Pennington, the Dolphins have managed to put points on the board against the Tennessee Titans. Miami was able to score 10 points during the third quarter, three from the foot of kicker Dan Carpenter and seven from a touchdown pass from Chad Henne to Patrick Cobbs. Later in the quarter Henne was forced off the field because of injury but was seen smiling as he headed to the sidelines.

After a dismal performance from starter Kerry Collins, the Titans called Vince Young's number during the third quarter. Young proceeded to throw 5 completions (on 8 attempts) for 33 yards and 1 touchdown. Collins topped out at 9-20 for 51 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. Chris Johnson continued his excellent day and is now at 15 carries for 114 yards and 1 touchdown.
