Eagles Vs. Redskins: And The ‘Skins Did In Fact Make It To The Game

In the first 20 minutes of the Monday night game in Washington, you could have been excused for assuming the Redskins just decided to spend the evening celebrating Donovan McNabb’s new contract money and not even bother to show up.

But after falling behind 35-0, the Redskins have put up touchdowns on consecutive drives after not having registered a single first down before the team fell behind five scores.

McNabb hit receivers for 70-plus yard plays on each of the scoring drives. On the first, the quarterback found tight end Fred Davis for a 71-yard catch and run. On the latter, McNabb hit receiver Anthony Armstrong for a 76-yard bomb to set up a six-yard touchdown pass to Keiland Williams.
