Reggie Bush Expected To Return From Injury For Saints In Week 11

Saints RB Reggie Bush left the Saints Week 2 game against the 49ers with a broken fibula that was expected to cost him four-to-six weeks. Nearly two months later and Bush may finally be returning. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Bush is expected to be available this weekend when the Saints play the Seahawks, as Bush said he would be last week before the Saints bye week.

“Just trying to do everything I can to get back on the field but I feel really good, I feel like I’ll be more than 100 percent,” said Bush. “This bye week has come at a perfect time.”

Initial reports suggested he would miss six weeks but it’s been seven games and eight weeks. Bush likely won’t receive a full complement of carries right off the bat as he’s worked back into the lineup. RB Pierre Thomas is also likely out for the Saints this weekend so there’s always the chance Bush sees more carries with the injury situation there. It’s hard to predict what kind of touches he’ll see this week.
