The Kansas City Chiefs are on a two-game losing streak as they prepare to host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The good news for KC is that Arizona is on a four-game losing streak. The Cardinals can't seem to do much of anything right these days so Sunday will be a battle of who screws up the least.
NFL Picks Week 11: Arizona Cardinals Vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs will go into the game with one goal and that’s running the ball. There’s no question that’s what they want to do and they’ll do all they can to achieve that goal. KC’s passing game blew up last week for 469 yards and four touchdowns but that was in a blowout loss so don’t expect a repeat performance. Arizona’s defense has been pretty miserable, especially at stopping the run, so on paper this is a bad matchup for Arizona.
The Cardinals QB situation isn’t very pretty -- even if the receiver situation is -- and that’s caused their offense to rank in the bottom third of the league in all major categories. Outside of last week’s embarrassment to Denver, KC has been solid on defense ranking in the middle of the league.
Arizona doesn’t match up very well with KC and the Vegas line of eight points reflects that. The Chiefs, undefeated at home, should walk away with this in a two-score victory.
