Things are not going particularly well for Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings today.
Week 11 NFL, Packers Vs. Vikings: Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings Stay Hot In Third Quarter
Trailing 17-3 at the start of the third quarter, it took the Green Bay Packers less than three minutes to extend their lead by another touchdown to 24-3. Aaron Rodgers found Greg Jennings for a 47-yard scoring strike to do the honors.
Rodgers is now up to 242 passing yards and three touchdowns on the day, while Jennings has 117 of those yards and two of those touchdowns. Rodgers and Jennings have hooked up for two plays of 46 or more yards on the day, with the first of those setting up an early field goal for the Pack.
Minnesota’s season was pretty much left for dead even before this game started, but if they’d like to avoid sprinting closer to being mathematically eliminated, Favre had better start pulling a little of his vintage magic from his purple rear end. Or just playing better football.
