Stick a fork in the Minnesota Vikings. They’re done. Like, charred beyond recognition done.
Week 11 NFL, Packers Vs. Vikings: Greg Jennings’ Third TD Gives Pack 31-3 Lead
Aaron Rodgers connected with Greg Jennings for the duo’s third touchdown of the afternoon, extending the Green Bay Packers’ commanding road lead to 31-3. Rodgers has completed 22 of 31 passes for 301 yards, with four touchdowns (the fourth going to James Jones in the first half). Jennings has hauled in seven passes for 152 and three touchdowns, with the scores covering 11, 46 and 22 yards.
Matt Flynn, by the way, has since replaced Rodgers in the lineup at quarterback for Green Bay.
Brett Favre? Less than 50 percent completions, 196 yards and an interception. The Vikings haven’t scored since Ryan Longwell gave the team a 3-0 lead in the first quarter by making a 24-yard field goal.
This game is over, and if you had any shred of doubt to the contrary, Minnesota’s season is also done.
