The Eagles last drive of the first half ended with a blocked Davis Akers’ field goal. Their first drive of the second half culminated in another field goal attempt but this time they kept the Giants out of his way to extend the lead to 16-3.

The drive was a massive fourteen-play drive that began at the team’s own 14. What began with big chunks of yards gained on each play became a war of attrition as the Eagles moved down the field via short gains and penalties.
