The Thanksgiving day NFL schedule is all set and we’ll have three NFL games starting at 12:30 p.m. (eastern). All three games include a team that’s 7-3 or better vs. a team that’s 3-7 or worse. It’s not the NFL’s best Thanksgiving day lineup. Here’s the football schedule:
Thanksgiving Day Football Schedule: Patriots-Lions, Saints-Cowboys And Bengals-Jets
New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions (12:30, CBS): This is the first game of the day and it may not be a good one as the Patriots are heavy favorites. It's the NFL's best record vs. the NFL's second-worst record. Check out Pats Pulpit and Pride of Detroit for more on the game.
New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys (4:15 p.m., FOX): This game figures to be a better matchup than these teams' records indicate. The Cowboys have lost all hope this season but they've won two in a row since firing Wade Phillips. We'll see if they can upset the Saints on Thanksgiving. Cincinnati Bengals vs. New York Jets (8:20 p.m., NFL Network): This is the night game that you can only watch on NFL Network. This looked like a better game at the beginning of the season but the Bengals have flopped this year while the Jets are riding high. Check out Cincy Jungle and Gang Green Nation for more on the game.
