Saints Vs. Cowboys: Reggie Bush Expected To Return From Injury

The New Orleans Saints may be seeing a familiar face on Thanksgiving day when they line up against the Dallas Cowboys. Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that the indications are that RB Reggie Bush will indeed play. Neither Bush nor head coach Sean Payton would reveal Bush's status but he practiced this week and is expected to play.

Bush has been out since Week 2 with a broken fibula and his return could spark a Saints offense that has scored 34 points in two consecutive weeks. Bush can likely expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 touches against the Cowboys and, as always, he’s a threat to take it the distance. There’s no word yet on his status as a return man.

Fantasy football players are likely to hear of Bush’s return but for the Cowboys it’s one more threat on the Saints offense to worry about.

For the season, Bush has seven carries for 18 yards and nine receptions for 63 yards. Check out Canal Street Chronicles for more on Bush’s status. Inactives will be released around 2:45 p.m. (eastern).
