The New England Patriots have released their inactive list in addition to the five players that have already been ruled out. Here's the full list: OL Stephen Neal, DL Myron Pryor, CB Jonathan Wilhite, DL Mike Wright, DL Brandon Deaderick, WR Taylor Price and OL Rich Ohrnberger.
Patriots Vs. Lions: Tom Brady, Fred Taylor Are Active
This means that QB Tom Brady is indeed active. He was listed as questionable on the injury report with a foot injury and hasn't practiced all week.
This also means that RB Fred Taylor is active. He's been battling turf toe and has not played since Week 3. Taylor can't expect a huge load in his first game back but the Patriots will likely try to get him involved to get him up to speed for the remainder of the season. Also active for the Patriots is S Jarrad Page, who has been battling a calf injury for the last month.
The Lions inactives include QB Zac Robinson, QB Matthew Stafford, TE Tony Scheffler, T Jason Fox, G Donald Thomas, DE Lawrence Jackson, DE Willie Young and K Jason Hanson. The name to remember on that list is Stafford, who has missed most of the season due to a shoulder injury. Also of note is that RB Jahvid Best is active after battling turf toe.
