Saints Vs. Cowboys: Reggie Bush Expected To Play But What About Jeremy Shockey?

As we mentioned, the New Orleans Saints are expected to welcome back to the lineup RB Reggie Bush, who has been out with a broken fibula since Week 3. However, Bush isn't the only one on the Saints injury report for the Thanksgiving day game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Also listed as questionable is S Malcolm Jenkins, S Darren Sharper and TE Jeremy Shockey. Saints beat writer Jeff Duncan predicts Jenkins, along with Bush, will play while Sharper and Shockey sit.

Shockey is suffering from a rib injury but did practice on Tuesday leading some to believe he'll be active when the Saints lineup against the Cowboys. Even if he is active, it doesn't sound like he'll have a large role. TE Jimmy Graham appears likely to see more action than Shockey.

The Saints have gone most of the season with Sharper so his absence wouldn’t kill their chances by any means. Of course, it never hurts to have a veteran leader on the field.

Inactives will be released around 2:45 p.m.
