Down by 11 to the Jacksonville Jaguars at halftime, the New York Giants chipped away and retook the lead late in the fourth on a 32-yard pass from Eli Manning to TE Kevin Boss. Both teams scored two touchdowns, with Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes three-for-three day making a significant difference.

The Giants defensive line held Jags QB David Garrard to 162 yards, forced a pick, and collected four sacks. Rookie DE Jason Pierre-Paul gained the first two sacks of his career. RB Maurice Jones-Drew was the bright spot for the Jacksonville offense, piling up 122 yards on 25 touches. Both teams ran well, in fact — RB Brandon Jacobs led New York with 87 on the ground.
The 7-4 Giants get the Washington Redskins at home next. The 6-5 Jags are off to see the Tennessee Titans.
