The Baltimore Ravens remain really hard to beat at home. And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers remain winless against team with winning records.
NFL Week 12 Scores And Results: Ravens Stay Unbeaten At Home, Down Bucs 17-10
The Ravens beat the Bucs 17-10, using a steady diet of Ray Rice and a couple of big plays from Joe Flacco in the passing game to build a 17-3 lead, then relying on a defense kept Josh Freeman and the Bucs offense out of the end zone until it was too little, too late.
Rice ran 20 times for 85 yards, and caught seven passes for 47 more. Flacco threw for 289 yards, and connected with Todd Heap on a 65-yard catch-and-run just before halftime that proved to be the game-winner.
Freeman was inaccurate all day, completing just 17 of his 37 throws for just 162 yards, and the Bucs could manage just 263 total yards.
With the win, Baltimore runs its record to 8-3 on the season, and keeps its home record blemish-free at 5-0. The Ravens lead the AFC North, and will play to take a commanding lead over the Steelers when they host Pittsburgh next Sunday night.
The Bucs fall to 7-4, and are 0-4 against teams with winning records, having been outscored 103-50 in those games. Atlanta, next week’s opponent, has a winning record, and could relegate the Bucs to the middle of the NFC Wild Card pack with a win.
