The Randy Moss waiver watch continues. Now that the Vikings have officially waived him he's on the waiver wire and can be had by the team with the worst record that claims him.
Randy Moss Waiver Wire Watch: Jets, Browns Reportedly Not Interested
Those interested in him do not include the Browns or Jets, according to reports.
Browns head coach Eric Mangini said on Wednesday that his team did not put in a waiver wire claim on Moss and he didn't think they would go in that direction. The Browns are ninth on the waiver wire priority list so they could have shaken things up by claiming him.
The Jets did not put in a claim either, reports ESPN's Rich Cimini via a league source. A report surfaced on Wednesday that Moss had spent the last day meeting with a few Jets. That nugget of info didn't really mean anything considering Moss's future rests in the hands of the waiver wire and not himself. The Jets held the 29th spot on the waiver wire so they were a long shot to begin with.
The Randy Moss waiver wire deadline comes at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
