Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (5-2)
NFL Picks Week 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Vs Atlanta Falcons
Breakdown: The Bucs don’t do anything incredibly well or incredibly poorly either. What’s surprising is that their point differential this year minus 27 -- and they’re 5-2. When they lose, they lose big. The Falcons meanwhile are a top 10 scoring offense that would like to run the ball. They’ve passed 150 rushing yards in four of seven games to this point. If the Falcons can run the ball well I feel pretty good about them in this game.
Player to Watch: Josh Freeman. Give him credit for leading his team to a 5-2 record. He's minimizing mistakes which is a necessity for the Bucs. If he can play another mistake-free game, I think the Bucs have a chance to keep it close. They're 5-0 in close games this year.
NFL Odds: Falcons are 8.5-9.5 point favorites.
Prediction: It’s hard to pick against the Falcons here. They’re heavy favorites at home against a team that hasn’t beaten a lot of good teams.
