Once Upon A Time, Andy Reid Was A Large Punt, Pass, And Kick Competitor

No matter what you like about football, Eagles-Colts has had something for you. A ghastly-looking hit? Yep. Hand-wringing about those hits? Sure. Impressive execution by Peyton Manning? Okay. Breathtaking quarterback play from Michael Vick? Absolutely.

↵But the coup de grace has to be the footage CBS showed of a young Andy Reid participating in a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition.

↵That screengrab is obviously via The Sports Geeks, and if CBS shows it, I suppose it has to be real. But in December 1971, Andy Reid was three months away from turning 14. And that looks like a colossal 14-year-old to me, albeit one with a superb spiral.

↵Then again, no one has ever accused Andy Reid of being slender.
