Follow along here: rookie Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford ran back a kick 94 yards for a touchdown to give Oakland its first score and cut the Kansas City Chiefs’ second quarter lead to 14-7. Late in the fourth, he yanked the ball away from star Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers to set up Sebastian Janikowski’s overtime-forcing field goal. Then in overtime, he hauled in a 47-yard Jason Campbell bomb to set up Janikowski’s game-winner.
NFL Scores And Results, Week 9: Jacoby Ford Powers Raiders Past Chiefs In OT, 23-20
All in all, Ford accounted for 148 yards from scrimmage, scored six points, and set up six more. Quarterbacks Matt Cassel and Campbell had similar, boring numbers. They are too boring to transcribe. Darren McFadden continued his hot streak, going over 100 yards from scrimmage yet again.
The Raiders are now 5-4 and head to see the Pittsburgh Steelers next week. The 5-3 Chiefs are off to see the Denver Broncos.
