Denver Broncos CB Perrish Cox was arrested on Thursday night for sexual assault according to the Denver Post. The Broncos have now commented on the arrest.

”“We are aware of the reports and are currently in the process of gathering information and reviewing the facts,” said Broncos media relations director Patrick Smyth. ”“We are taking this matter very seriously and are fully cooperating with every aspect of the process.”
Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports the Lone Tree Police Department were notified of an alleged sexual assault on Oct. 28 and after a “lengthy and detailed investigation” the case was sent to the District Attorney’s office. He was arrested on Thursday night without incident, according to the report.
