Eagles Vs. Cowboys: Michael Vick Scores On Opening Drive

On the first play from scrimmage, Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick conducted a play-action rollout to the left and fired deep to WR Desean Jackson. Sound familiar? That’s how the Eagles’ November Monday Night Football destruction of the Washington Redskins started, so this must just be a new prime time tradition.

Jackson’s 60-yard catch was the highlight of a six-play, 73-yard scoring drive capped by a one-yard Vick dive. It’s the seventh time this season the Eagles have scored a touchdown on their opening drive. Vick is already two-of-three for 72 yards, the other completion a near third-down conversion to WR Chad Hall. Philly converted on fourth down before cashing in on the touchdown.

And then Vick did this:

The Cowboys fumbled their first kickoff return, but got it together and are on their way to what appears to be a somewhat less explosive drive.
