It wasn’t quite as spectacular as the drive the Philadelphia Eagles put together, but it was a touchdown drive. Dallas Cowboys QB Jon Kitna stared down a hellacious blitz and found TE Jason Witten for a goal line touchdown, concluding a ten-play, 77-yard drive.
Eagles Vs. Cowboys: Touchdown To Jason Witten Ties It Up
The scoring effort took a moment to get going, but a defensive penalty turned a fourth down into a first down, WR Miles Austin took a reverse for a big gain into Philly territory, and RB Tashard Choice added some tough runs up the middle to set up Kitna’s throw.
Fantasy football team owners, the line starts right here: Kitna is three-of-three for eight yards and a touchdown, making him the most efficient yards-per-touchdown passer this side of Tim Tebow.
Austin, Choice, and RB Felix Jones combined for 54 yards, giving the Cowboys an opening drive opposite to Philadelphia’s in just about every way. The Eagles have one rushing yard as they begin their second drive.
