Eagles Vs. Cowboys: Dallas Field Goal Closes Philly’s Halftime Lead To Four

Startlingly burly and energetic Dallas Cowboys kicker David Buehler put a 50 yard field goal through the uprights with a few seconds left to make things more respectable for Dallas. The Philadelphia Eagles scored a touchdown just a couple drives earlier on a two-yard pass from QB Michael Vick to OG Todd Herremans, and that’s OG as in offensive guard, though only a maniac would question a pass-catching lineman’s gangster.

The Cowboys have actually outgained Philly, 169 to 147. A second-quarter interception by Vick made up for an earlier Kitna pick, and here we are. This is Vick’s third-straight game with a pick after a seven-week turnover-free streak to open the season.

Eagles WR Desean Jackson leads all non-Vicks, with 97 yards receiving highlighted by a 60-yard grab on the game’s opening play. Cowboys RB Felix Jones is your leading rusher, though he’s only gained 33 yards so far.
