DeSean Jackson has been here before, celebrating in what many deem an over-the-top way. It was against the very same Dallas Cowboys the Philadelphia Eagles faced on Sunday that Jackson made one of his more famous gaffes, celebrating a yard too early by throwing the ball backwards, negating a touchdown.

On Sunday Night Football, Jackson didn’t make the same mistake again, this time hanging onto the ball as he slowly fell backwards into the end zone from the one-yard line.
Jackson finished the night with four catches for 210 yards, a touchdown and one memorable, though illegal, celebration.
Jackson was flagged, and seems likely to be scolded in the media, but that celebration was fantastic. Not only did he make an amazing play, breaking tackles and out-running the Dallas defense for the score, but he did it while admittedly hobbled after rolling an ankle just minutes before. If he’s good enough to make the play, he might as well celebrate in a big way.
All that’s left is to see how much commissioner Roger Goodell fines Jackson for the celebration.
