The Dallas Cowboys just couldn't match the Philadelphia Eagles play makers on Sunday Night Football as Philly walked away with a 30-27 victory. Guys like Felix Jones, Jason Witten and Miles Austin couldn't match guys like Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy. That's about the easiest way to put it as the Eagles made big plays in the beginning -- DeSean Jackson's 61-yard receptions on the first play -- and big plays at the end -- Jackson's 91-yard fourth quarter touchdown.

The Cowboys have the play makers on the team to put up big numbers -- and they did in some areas -- but it wasn’t enough as they fell to the Eagles. SB Nation’s Blogging The Boys looks back at the offense and says Dallas simply couldn’t match up with them.
The Cowboys offense couldn't find enough playmakers to match the Eagles. Jason Witten was the workhorse with seven catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Outside of that, the Cowboys struggled. The running game could never get going, the biggest play in that area was a Miles Austin reverse for 26 yards. Felix Jones had one big play on a screen pass, but the Cowboys offense didn't take many shots downfield. Jon Kitna had a very high completion percentage (25/34), but only averaged 6.9 yards per attempt.
Give credit to the ‘Boys for hanging in this one. They’re a team with nothing to play for and they took the Eagles to the wire. Jason Witten scored late to make it interesting but Dallas couldn’t stop Philly from running out the clock.
The Eagles move to 9-4 on the year and a half game up on the New York Giants, who are playing Monday night against the Vikings. A New York win leaves these two tied atop the division once again.
