The Minnesota Vikings aren't sure yet where they'll play next week and they don't even know who the quarterback will be once they figure that out. QB Brett Favre, who broke his consecutive games played streak last week due to injury, is a possibility but the Vikings have indicated they're not sure if he'll be ready. Backup QB Tarvaris Jackson "doesn't look good" right now and may not play because of turf toe.
With Brett Favre’s Injury, Vikings Bring In Patrick Ramsey
Next up? Patrick Ramsey.
The Vikings agreed to terms with the veteran quarterback on Wednesday one day after head coach Leslie Frazier suggested Monday’s starter may not even be on the team yet.
For the Vikings it would be another setback in a season of setbacks. Monday night’s game is expected to be in frigid temperatures -- assuming it’s at TCF Bank Stadium -- so running the ball a lot may be the best game plan anyway. It’s looking like they may not have many other options.
The Vikings aren’t placing Favre on injured reserve which means they’re hoping he can return at some point. We’ll see if that return comes Monday night against the Bears.
