The Baltimore Ravens scored three straight touchdowns to open up a 21-7 lead on the New Orleans Saints, but Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham have cut that lead to 21-14 just before halftime in Maryland.
NFL Week 15, Ravens Vs. Saints: Jimmy Graham Scores Again, Saints Still Trail
Graham, a rookie tight end out of Miami, grabbed his second touchdown of the day - this one a one-yard reception - late in the second quarter. On the day, he has four receptions for 23 yards and two scores, including an 18-yarder that gave the Saints an early 7-0 lead.
Drew Brees has completed 15 of 22 passes for 135 yards and the two scores, while Marques Colston (three receptions, 43 yards) and Reggie Bush (four catches, 38 yards) have come up big for the Saints to this point. But New Orleans has yet to find an answer for Ravens running back Ray Rice, who on 20 first-half touches accumulated 114 total yards and two touchdowns in helping Baltimore open up their first-half lead.
Both of these teams are chasing division leaders, with the 10-3 Saints a game behind NFC South-leading Atlanta, and the 9-4 Ravens a game behind AFC North-leading Pittsburgh. This has the makings of a shootout; should be a fun afternoon in Baltimore.
