New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez has been much better in today’s very Chicago weather than has Bears QB Jay Cutler. Sanchez has thrown only one incompletion in 11 attempts, good for 126 yards and setting up a touchdown by RB LaDainian Tomlinson in addition to Shonn Greene’s earlier score. Meanwhile Cutler is completing 50 percent so far and threw an interception that was taken back for a touchdown.
Jets Vs. Bears: Jay Cutler Responds To LaDainian Tomlinson Touchdown
However, who needs to throw when you’ve got wheels like Cutler? To cap a seven-play, 64-yard drive in response to LT’s touchdown, Cutler ran in a two-yard score, his first in 26 games. When people say Michael Vick looks like he’s playing Madden out there, I always want to have them watch more of Cutler. He drops back far, then just keeps backpedaling, eventually launching one deep. That’s how people actually play Madden.
Tomlinson’s score was his first since week six.
