Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler just threw his third touchdown of the third quarter, an over-the-shoulder 26-yarder to WR Johnny Knox, with Knox making a pretty grab in the end zone. Cutler’s yardage total has again surpassed New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez’. Cutler has gunned for 215 yards on only 13 completions. All three of his scores have been from 25 or more yards out.
Jets Vs. Bears: Jay Cutler Tearing Apart New York Secondary In Second Half
Jets RB Shonne Greene has 62 yards and Matt Forte has 50, both on 10 attempts. Knox leads all receivers with 92 yards, and Jets WR Santonio Holmes leads New York with 69. The Jets have outgained the Bears 318 to 262, with each defense forcing a turnover.
It goes without saying at this point that the Jets have already driven past midfield. Their brief offensive struggles at the beginning of the half appear to be long gone.
