Giants Vs. Packers: Aaron Rodgers Throws Third TD, Puts Green Bay Up 14

In his first game back, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has now thrown for three touchdowns, the third a one-yard dart to TE Donald Lee. Rodgers has dished out 321 yards on 32 attempts, with WR Greg Jennings’ 118 leading the way.

Green Bay has now outgained New York by over 140 yards. That plus a pair of turnovers have put the Giants in a hole. Hakeem Nicks fumbled the ball away on the ensuing return, with Green Bay recovering, but officials ruled he was down after a Tom Coughlin challenge. A holding call on the return has Eli Manning starting from his own 12-yard line.

The disparity between each team’s running game has continued, with New York sitting at 37 yards to Green Bay’s 76.

The Packers and Giants traded field goals to open the second half. Green Bay hasn’t led by two touchdowns since early in the second quarter. The game was briefly tied in the middle of the second.
