The Minnesota Vikings will be rolling into battle against the Philadelphia Eagles without Brett Favre for the second time in three games. The Vikings inactive list will include Brett Favre, which isn't a surprise considering he was doubtful all week. Favre suffered a concussion last week and hasn't passed any of the initial tests so we figured he wouldn't play (even if he was out then questionable then playing last week).
Brett Favre Inactive For Vikings Vs. Eagles After Concussion
Making the start for the Vikings will be Joe Webb. Replacing Favre last week Webb completed 15-of-226 passes for 129 yards and two interceptions in a less than impressive performance.
This means that Favre will have one more chance to get on the field before he retires. The Vikings travel to Detroit next week in the final game of the season and Favre says he’s retiring at the end of the year (and he means it this time!).
The Vikings play the Eagles as Tuesday Night Football replaces Sunday Night Football because of the snowstorm in Philadelphia
