Week 13 NFL Scores And Results: Bears Overtake Lions In Fourth, 24-20

After the first meeting between these teams ended controversially, the Chicago Bears left no doubt today by beating the Detroit Lions fair and square. Lions WR Calvin Johnson caught a touchdown that was ruled a touchdown, unlike week one, but the Bears came back in the fourth and held on to win.

Lions QB Drew Stanton, playing due to injuries to both Matthew Stafford and Shaun Hill, put up 178 yards, a touchdown through the air, and a touchdown on the ground, but Bears QB Jay Cutler threw only five incompletions on a 236-yard day. Bears WR Earl Bennett is your box score star today, with 104 yards on seven catches.

The 9-3 Bears continue to angle for playoff positioning next week against the New England Patriots. The 2-10 Lions try again next week against the Green Bay Packers.
