The Carolina Panthers ran out to a 14-0 lead over the Seattle Seahawks early in the second quarter, but hopes of a road upset dissipated as the Hawks scored 31 unanswered.

Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch recorded three touchdowns and 100 total yards, supplemented by RB Justin Forsett’s 60 on the ground and TE Cameron Morrah’s 69 through the air. QB Matt Hasselbeck threw for 229 and two picks.
Panthers QB Jimmy Clausen has now thrown a pick in six of his nine games this year. RB Jonathan Stewart was Carolina’s only box score standout, providing 99 total yards and a touchdown. WR Steve Smith led Carolina with 54 yards receiving.
The 1-11 Panthers get the Atlanta Falcons next week, while the 6-6 Seahawks fight for their playoff lives against the San Francisco 49ers.
