The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens almost always play tough, low-scoring games, and tonight’s no exception. The Ravens scored the only points of the night on a 14-yard pass from QB Joe Flacco to WR Anquan Boldin, and a hobbled QB Ben Roethlisberger is having a hard time getting Pittsburgh’s offense on track.
Steelers Vs. Ravens: Baltimore Takes 7-0 Lead Into Halftime
Entering the game with a hurt foot and suffering a banged-up, bloody nose after a sack, Roethlisberger is nine-of-19 with an interception. Pittsburgh’s running game hasn’t fared much better against Baltimore’s defense, mustering only 39 yards on ten attempts.
Flacco is playing efficient football, throwing only five incompletions on his way to 179 yards. But the Ravens’ ground attack has made Pittsburgh’s look like Franco Harris is in the house, with only 11 yards on 11 attempts. Boldin’s 75 yards were supplemented by a 67-yard catch by Donte Stallworth, and that’s about it as far as offense goes tonight.
