Breakdown: The quarterbacks are always key and they will be in this one. Alex Smith is coming off an impressive game against the Saints (despite the two interceptions) and Matt Cassel is statistically among the worst in the league. Which quarterback plays better will likely lead his team to victory.
Player to Watch: Matt Cassel. Alex Smith has shown some ability to lead his team this year but Cassel has shown. He's been a significant liability for the Chiefs to this point and if the 49ers slow down those Chiefs running backs they'll put the ball in Cassel's hands.
Line: 49ers are three point favorites.
Prediction: The Chiefs showed in Week 1 that the crowd noise at Arrowhead Stadium is back. I’d take the Chiefs in the upset.
