Vincent Jackson Reportedly Had A Contract Offer From The Rams

The St. Louis Rams were one of the handful of teams rumored to be interested in San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson throughout the offseason until word arose on Wednesday that they had bowed out of the Jackson trade sweepstakes.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Rams backed out only after they had made a contract offer to Jcakson and his agents.

They also report that the hangup in any potential deal between Jackson and the Rams had more to do with the Chargers asking price in a trade than it did contract terms with Jackson.

Jackson’s agents said they had a deal worked out with multiple teams and at least two teams offered multi-year contracts.

Check out Turf Show Times to see what Rams fans think about missing out on Vincent Jackson.
