Week 3 NFL Scores And Results: Bills Hang In There Against Pats, Fall 38-30

C.J. Spiller scored his first and second NFL touchdowns, but New England held off Buffalo and earned a one-score win.

The Pats pounded the ball, gaining 200 yards on the ground. Five Patriot receivers caught more than 40 yards, including Randy Moss’ 42 with two touchdowns.

Other than his two picks, Ryan Fitzpatrick kept pace with Tom Brady, with both completing about 70 percent and throwing for around 250 yards.

Spiller broke off a 95-yard punt return early in the second half, following up a five-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

The Bills tumble to 0-3, and the Patriots bounce back to 2-1 after losing to the Jets.
