NFL Predictions For The Winless Teams: Detroit Lions
Winnable Games: Week 5 vs. STL, Week 10 at BUF, Week 15 at TB
Tough Stretch: They’re in the midst of a four-game stretch featuring all three division opponents, as well as Mike Vick and Philadelphia. Things won’t get easier as Thanksgiving approaches, as Dallas and New England precede two home dates against Chicago and Green Bay.

Winnable Games: Week 11 at JAC, Week 12 vs CAR, Week 14 at BUF
Prediction: The Browns are built to play a lot of good teams close, but they don’t have the defensive playmaking or the quarterback play to beat any of those good teams. They’re serious contenders for a Top 5 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Winnable Games: Week 5 vs. JAC, Week 10 vs. DET, Week 14 vs. CLE
Prediction: Buffalo will be lucky to eke out three or four wins, though they do have a shot to play competitive ball and make some big plays. Like Cleveland, they’re contenders to sit at the top of the draft order next spring.

Tough Stretch: They started it last week against Cincinnati, as they get New Orleans and Chicago for their most difficult three-game stretch of the year. Closing the season with Pittsburgh and Atlanta won’t be fun, either.
