Earlier, we gave attention to Friday morning's New York Post treatment of the upcoming Jets-Patriots game. The headline is "Return of the Jet-I," Bill Belichick is Darth Vader, Rex Ryan is Han Solo, et cetera. My only point of confusion was the role of Tom Brady, who was just sort of bummin' around next to Darth Bill.
Artist Of ‘Return Of The Jet-I’ Patriots-Jets Cover Admits Unfamiliarity With Star Wars
↵The artist, Peter LaVigna, explains:
↵↵They want to know why Brady Isn’t a Star Wars character like the others… I’m actually not a Star Wars geek at all, and I got a little mixed up with how Anakin Skywalker fits into everything; I know now that he’s actually the young Darth Vader, but That’s Belichick in the artwork.

Hmm. The original artwork, I'd imagine, featured Santonio Holmes as Jim Startrek, LaDainian Tomlinson as Bobby Battlestar, and Mark Brunell as, I don't know, King Spaceball.
