NFL Playoff Schedule: Ravens, Steelers, Packers, And Falcons Do Battle On Saturday

On Saturday, the NFL’s divisional playoffs commence with two very different types of match-ups. The rival Steelers and Ravens meet in the AFC, while in the NFC, the Packers and Falcons play to advance to the conference championship. Here’s a schedule and some notes as we near Saturday’s action.

Baltimore Ravens (12-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4)
Time: 4:30 p.m. Eastern.
Channel: CBS.
Line: Steelers by 3.
Ravens' injury report: C Matt Birk, CB Chris Carr, and S Tom Zbikowski (questionable), LB Tavares Gooden (probable).
Steelers' injury report: DE Aaron Smith (doubtful), CB Bryant McFadden and S Troy Polamalu (probable).

The Steelers-Ravens AFC North rivalry has evolved into one of the most heated in the NFL. This season, the Steelers allowed the fewest points in the NFL, and the Ravens allowed the third-fewest. This season, the Ravens were the only team to beat the Steelers in Heinz Field. Read more at our Steelers blog, Behind The Steel Curtain, and our Ravens blog, Baltimore Beatdown.

Green Bay Packers (10-6) at Atlanta Falcons (13-3)
Time: 8 p.m. Eastern.
Channel: Fox.
Line: Falcons by 3.
Packers' injury report: LB Frank Zombo (out), C Jason Spitz, S Atari Bigby, and RB Korey Hall (questionable).
Falcons' injury report: CB Brian Williams (doubtful), DE John Abraham, DT Jonathan Babineaux, and S Thomas DeCoud (questionable).

The Falcons have pleased sportswriters everywhere by being a bird-themed team that can score a lot, thereby allowing us to write, “high-flying offense.” Each of the Packers’ six losses this season were decided by four points or fewer.
