The intent was nice, but the execution just wasn’t there. Welker took his shots at a recent, embarrassing personal event. Spy Gate? We’re talking about three years ago now. And on a scale of one to “forgot my pants went I went to work today,” it barely even moves the needle of shame.
A golf clap for the effort, but Welker still comes out on top with his sneaky, not-so-subtle press conference performance.
