NFL Playoff Schedule: Steelers, Ravens Square Off On Saturday Afternoon
The defensively-oriented AFC North rivals will throw down on CBS. Here’s the game schedule:
4:30 p.m. - Kickoff.
4:34 through 5:22 p.m. - The Steelers attempt a pass that is blocked at the line of scrimmage, a dive over the line, and two quarterback sneaks. The ball is turned over on downs. The Ravens take possession and do the exact same thing. This happens several times.
5:23 p.m. - Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is faced with a third-and-10 situation. He is instructed to mail the ball to the first-down marker.
5:28 p.m. - Flacco crudely wraps the ball in manila paper, addresses it to "FIRST DOWN MARKER, C/O REFEREE, 123 FIRST DOWN STREET", walks through the stadium concourse, and drops it in a mailbox.
5:37 p.m. - Flacco is informed by officials that the first-down marker does not have a street address.
12:43 p.m., Monday - Postman collects the football. Ball is sent to First Down Sports Lounge in Elwood, Indiana.
3:14 p.m., Thursday - The owner of First Down Sports Lounge, being a man of good repute, returns the ball to sender.
4:01 p.m., Saturday - Flacco finds the ball in his mailbox, travels back to Pittsburgh, enters Heinz Field, and trudges into the end zone with the ball tucked underneath his shoulder. He awakens the sleeping referee to apprise him of what has happened.
FINAL SCORE: RAVENS 6, STEELERS 0
