↵I’m not sure of the connotation or origin of killing baby squirrels — other than, obviously, it being bad because baby squirrels are cuuuuute — but I have to admire the commitment. Sure, it’s a little deranged to try demonizing the other team with slander about their hatred of cute animals, but no one ever accused sports fans of being completely sane at all times.

Then again, I suppose it's a good thing the hotly awaited Eagles-Falcons NFC Championship Game can't happen. If this is the bit of inspired lunacy one rogue Falcons fan dreamed up for the Packers, I can't imagine the reception Michael Vick, admitted killer of dogs, would have gotten in his return; this is the sort of thing that doesn't scale well.
↵And no matter what, it wouldn’t have been as funny as a dude in a squirrel get-up.
