NFL Playoff Picture: Scenarios And Implications Of Week 17’s Late Games
Jaguars at Texans. Jacksonville can clinch AFC South and No. 4 seed with a win and a Colts loss. The Jaguars will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss or a Colts win.
Giants at Redskins. Giants can clinch playoff berth with win and Packers loss, but must win to get into NFL playoffs. The Giants will be eliminated from playoff contention with either a loss or a Packers win.
Cowboys at Eagles. No playoff implications. Eagles locked into the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs, and will host Packers, Giants, or Bucs next week.
Cardinals at 49ers. No playoff implications.
Bears at Packers. No playoff implications for Bears, who are locked into No. 2 seed in NFC and clinched first-round bye in Week 16. Packers can clinch playoff spot with win, but will be eliminated from playoffs with loss thanks to Buccaneers’ win over Saints.
Titans at Colts. Colts can clinch AFC South with win or Jaguars loss. Colts will earn No. 3 seed with win and No. 4 seed with loss and Jaguars loss.
Chargers at Broncos. No playoff implications, but, hey, Tim Tebow makes his third NFL start.
