On January 18 the NFLPA launched “Let Us Play Day” encouraging fans to use the hashtag #letusplay on their Twitter accounts and other forms of social media as well as asking fans to sign their petition at NFLLockout.com. That seems like a minor effort to their next endeavor -- a 2011 Super Bowl commercial. It’s actually being played just once -- during the NFLPA All-Star game the day before the Super Bowl (in order to keep costs down, the union says).

The Super Bowl is one minute long and features NFL players, including president Kevin Mawae, saying, “Let us play” while fans are shown saying, “Let them play.”
