Eric Mangini was fired by the Cleveland Browns today, and firings are sad things. Families are affected. Careers are damaged. Years of effort and sweat equity vaporize in a single moment. That is why Adam Schefter and Hannah Storm handled the moment with the appropriate gravity and decorum.
VIDEO: Adam Schefter And Hannah Storm Celebrate Eric Mangini’s Firing, And Then Cry
“Fifty bonus points, Camera Guy! WOOO HE IS TOTALLY FIRED! I mean, yes that’s very sad and we take this very seriously, yes.”
As usual, Youtube commenters beat you to the best of all possible responses to this clip of ESPN employees actively celebrating the unveiling of a coach’s head rolling.
I love how they realize how they look and they just start listing sad things.
Hannah: Someone has lost their job
Adam: And dont forget about the families and the holocaust and the Sudan
and the wars and AIDS and the homeless and the failure to recognize Armenian
genocide and the national debt. Very sad indeed.
ESPN will hereby respond to complaints by firing Camera Guy, clearly to blame here for inciting the situation by wagering on the fate of a coach. Those at the company who then celebrate winning bets on Camera Guy’s firing will then themselves be fired, and those who wagered on those guys being fired will they themselves end up being fired, and this cycle will continue until Eric Mangini is hired as the new camera guy. He will film Adam Schefter at a really, really close angle, and show the nation his horrible combination skin and large pores. Only then will his revenge on Adam Schefter be complete.
