That’s how much ESPN is reportedly paying the National Football League for the rights to broadcast Monday Night Football, along with highlights of the league’s games. That’s $2 billion, one game, highlights, no playoffs, no Super Bowl.

↵It’s a 40 percent increase from the network’s previous contract with the NFL, which was an eight year, $8.8 billion deal. The new one is believe to be somewhere between nine-to-10 years and $16.2-19 billion, according to Sports Business Daily. The NFL is basically netting the yearly equivalent of Belize’s GDP with this one deal.
